Plainly: what we ask for, who sees it, and what we never do with it.
What we collect, and when
When you book, we ask for your name, phone number and email address, plus anything you choose to tell us in the notes. That is what we need to hold the appointment and to reach you if something changes.
When you send us a message or apply to work here, we keep what you wrote and how to reply to it.
We record the IP address a booking or form came from. That is used to stop automated abuse of the forms and nothing else.
Who can see it
Your barber sees the bookings in their own chair — your name, your phone number and any note you left, so they can call you if they're running late.
The shop owner sees bookings across the shop.
One barber cannot see another barber's customers. That is enforced by the database itself, not just by what the screens choose to show.
Payments
If you pay online, your card details go straight to Stripe. They never touch this website and we never see or store a card number.
We keep a record that a payment happened, what it was for and how much — never the card itself.
Your booking link
The link in your confirmation email is what lets you change or cancel without an account. It works for that one appointment and nothing else.
We store only a one-way scrambled version of it, so even we cannot reconstruct your link.
Analytics
Any usage measurement receives categorical information only — that a booking happened, not who made it. No names, emails, phone numbers, booking references or amounts are ever sent to an analytics service.
How long we keep it
Bookings are kept as the shop's records, including cancelled ones, so a barber can see a customer's history.
You can ask us to remove your details at any time — call the shop or use the contact form. Where we're required to keep a financial record we'll tell you.
Cookies
You do not need an account to book, and browsing or booking sets no tracking cookies.
Barbers and shop staff who sign in get a cookie that keeps them signed in. That is all it does.
